This has been a busy week. Early this week we went to driving school. It was a prelim of driving safety for the Konan HS ni-nensei. They all got to see and experience different driving safety concepte. it was pretty cool.
I did a little more teaching and also decied to post a pic from Sendai. (smile JO) The rest of this week was busy getting ready for the Konan festival. It is a community event where the neighborhood can come and enjoy the school. The students hand make huge banners, sew costumes and preform dances by homeroom. The next day booths are set up and each homeroom has a different game or food. There are also "garage bands" and magic shows. Our booth was yakitori. In the pictures posted, you can see the incredible preparation that the students do to make this festival a great success. This also means school on Saturday and Sunday with tuesday and wednesday off. Then final pic is of our homeroom dance squad. Yes I had to dance. No I will not post action pictures of said event! If my partners post pictures I cannot be held responsible for the disturbing nature of their content.
