We enjoyed the December conference very much. We could see and hear you for the whole conference. The technology was excellent for this conference.
We enjoyed learning about seeds that you eat. It was a surprise to learn that most of the soybeans the Japanese use are grown in the United States. The students tasted some natou beans, but they did not like them.
Thank you for teaching us to count in Japanese.
Most of the children at Fox Lane celebrate Christmas or Hanukah. We thought that you would like to learn a little more about Hanukah. Hanukah is celebrated by people of the Jewish religion. It is celebrated for eight nights by lighting a candle, singing some songs, and spinning the top (dreidel). The children can win or lose pieces of chocolate candy (gilt). They also eat potato pancakes and open a gift.
Happy holidays!
