Students shared bugs and soil reports from each
country. Kounan collected on multiple dates from the same site and Hillside collected on one date but from multple areas. Insects from each country were similar as Kounan and Hillside have similar climates and geography.

Students had fun sharing about the different ways in which the
Christmas holiday is celebrated in each culture and some common activities such as yuki-gassen, or snowball fights, hockey and skiing.

Hillside students sang "Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer" to their partners at Kounan. The video we made will not fit on the post site and was e-mailed to Kounan.
We finished the conference by playing "shiritori" a Japanese word game.
(we played in eego) The score was very close and most Hillside students
