On November 6/7 Sebastian River Middle School and Hiroshima Motomachi Senior High School held their monthly video conference. It was the first time we had used both Skype audio and video. After a few minutes of figuring out how to use the Skype video everything went smoothly.
Our students introduced themselves to each other and both schools presented their Fast Plants projects. The students from both schools held up pots with the fast plants in front of the web cameras. Students from both schools also read the growth data and history of their projects.
After the Fast Plants project presentations, students relaxed a lot and chatted with each other. Things went very well and I believe students from both schools had a very good experience with the conference.

Looks like the video conferencing aspect of your project is working out well. Isn't it a whole lot easier just using skype for the point to point communication?
