Hell. Well, I've looked and I know I posted it hare someplace, but just for the record, here's another. This will be short and I'll see if it posts. Then I'll wax lyrical with a second posting. Thanks. November 13th Videoconference
On November 13, 2006 at 2:00 in the afternoon the students in Tomales connected via Skype with the Matsuyama students who were enjoying the morning of November 14th. A video conference started at 2:00 and continued till 5:00. Tomales used a projector to enlarged the images to be seen. Teachers, administrators, wives and friends also joined the conference. Japanese and American food was served as refreshments. Students in both countries discussed the Pair Project (ponds), insect collecting and Fast Plants. The Tomales students had posters to show local activity involving the MTP projects. The conference was a stunning success and we look forward to our next visit. Recently (December 5, 2006 at 5:00) several of us had a videoconference involving teachers in the program and Doctor Jones. There were some problems with the visual, but the audio worked well and we enjoyed sharing our follow on activities with each other. Respectfully submitted on 12/12/06. Jim McElroy
