I have no additional report on my Fast Plants. This post report is as follows and will be the last, alas:
1-- The plants died. 2-- We said a few kind words and gave them the big dump ceremony. 3-- Their after life began in File 13 ... and we all wished them the safest of passages onto their next adventure! At the December MTP videoconference, Dr. Jones was understanding about the passing of my Fast Plants. Thank you Dr. Jones. And so it goes ... It is all good ... Jane

Jane, my deepest regrets on your Fast Plant death. Mine died too, their lives complicated with spider mites. The kids truly hated to see them gone...odd how they got attached to each of their own plant.

Jane, maybe you've got a "black thumb" with those fast plants. I don't know what I've got...maybe the norovirus. Tomorrow I'm supposed to drive up to Lake Tahoe for 3 days of downhill fun. No dice. There aren't enough rest stops on I-80 to get me that far east (more than you need to know). With spare time last week and this, I've been installing a tankless hot water system out at the cabin. Plumbing, electrical, gas, sheetrock, venting and a whole education on this high tech system. It never stops. Between the punk weather and my flu, I'm taking a pajama day and puttering around the post Christmas clutter here in Santa Rosa. I got the green light for the 07 MTP, so I'm thrilled. Kavitha and I are working on theaching a Japanese elective next year at the Comprehensice HS, so that'll work well with student activities...What's new? Best, Jim
