The local quarry has been very supportive and helpful with our pair project. Last spring when we built the French drain system, they donated and delivered 5 yards of 3/4" blue shale to fill the ditch we dug to entoumb the 4" drainpipe over 160'. As an afterthought I dug more ditch to capture raingutter runoff. That brought us up short on filling the ditches to the brim.
Now we can "dome" our drainage system with rock and not have the problem of dirt sealing off access to the drainpipe for water.
Paul answered my plea to dump a scoop of our rock on the muddy path thatg leads from the continuation HS to the comprehensive HS.
I need to bring out a pump to empty our flooded construction site or we won't be able to dig again till late spring. Our pond hole is full of water and some of it is a foot deep.
