Greetings. Here in Tomales the MTP conference today is almost upstaging the full moon. Almost. It was quite a sight last night and out in the west as I was driving to work this morning.. We're still recovering from our loss to Mendocino in the football championship Saturday night after an undefeated record all season. I've almost thawed out after a particularly cold experience on the sidelines. You may notice in the attached photo that I've put on another 30 pounds. Nope, it's not "more to love"; it's many layers of failed insullation. As the shepheard says, "Ewe's not fat; ewe's fuzzy!" Anyway we hope festoon functions as well as skype. Mark, our tech team member, and I gave it a test run yesterday. He figures that MTP will call us and handle the networking. We'll know in a few hours... Tomorrow I'll be taking my continuation students (except forthe three who didn't make the cut...) to San Francisco. We will host the visiting Italian students for a nice outing. We'll take a school bus the 40 some miles to Larkspur & then ride the ferry boat 45 minutes across The Bay to the Embarcadero. We'll walk from the Ferry building to the old mint on Kearney St. to tour the Pacific Heritage Museum. We'll walk from there to Union Square for lunch. Then we walk to Montgomery St. to get a docent tour of the Wells Fargo Museum. The boat takes us back across The Bay at 3:00. We will be back on campus for the 5:30 late bus. I'll pickle the experience on film & share some opf the joys of being on the road later in the week. I look forward to talking to as many of you as possible this evening. Cheers, Jim P.S. When I get home we will have my mom and Carol's mom over to celebrate Carol's mom's 90th birthday! Walkers, wheelchairs, champange and some home cookin'.

Ah Jim-san I feel your pain. We did about the same thing a couple of weeks back. Cheyenne East HS took second for the second year in a row in the Wyoming Football state championship...there's always basketball!
Take care,
Jim, Cheyenne East HS
