I enjoyed seeing the sunny Texas vistas in the bugs and soils posting that Tom shared today. I've been chatting with a first grade teacher from his district. She'll be on the 07 MTP. Anyway, the icy wseather has left us and now we've got fog. Some of the stout lads from AG department are helping with our pond digging because we really have to make hay between rainstorms this time of year. This goo that evolves at the bottom of our hole when it's filled with rainwater resembles caulking. It doesn't shovel well. Stick stuff. Sticks to the shovel. Sticks to the wheelbarrow. Sticks our rubber boots to the earth. It's like digging in the La Brea Tar Pits or something... Anyway, we're ok here. This is a minimum day. I got to the doctor yesterday after school and now I am clear to participate in the Teacher at Sea Program when I get back from MTP 6/19/07. Here are some cows for Tom. Best, Jim McElroy
