Just can't stay away

Wednesday morning was spent by Yao-sensei and Nakamura-sensei visiting the elementary building. They were only suppose to stay for 45 minutes and ended up staying the entire morning! In the afternoon we were able to reschedule part of our field trip and visited the new Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum. After school Yao and Nakamura went with Dr. Deluhery (the principal) to the college class she teaches on phonetics. They taught the students the Katakana writing which uses phonetics. Afterwards we met at the superintendant's house where we had dinner with the principals and some teachers.

Forgot the Thursday stuff!!! Actually, all day I did not see Yao-sensei and Nakamura-sensei. They were off visiting classes all around the campus. After school we headed to Springfield. We went to the Illinois State Capital building and got a personal tour. We met the Springfield representative...whose name escapes me right now! We then headed to Longhorn Restaurant to try out some prime rib! Lastly we visited the mall and Toys R Us for some shopping.
