Pair Project November 2006 After collected many Rollie-Pollies, my class kept them in an aquarium in out classroom. We made observations about where the insects like to hide, what they like to eat, and if they prefer light or dark conditions. During our November video conference we showed the Japanese student our insects and the aquarium. They liked that we had many insects and my class thought it was interesting that we had the same bugs as the Japanese students in our classroom. We also planed our seeds and began the observations with the plant growth. It took a week or so to see the first plants sprout out of the soil. My students made fast plant observations through the month of November. We did not share the findings and observations until December.
