We visited the Kagawa Natural Science Museum, which is located in the northern part of Kagawa Prefecture near the top of Goshiki-dai plateau. The museum was constructed facing the beautiful Seto Inland Sea. The museum is divided into three exibits: biological, geological, and cultural. The two main exibits display the prefectural animal (the deer), and the prefectural bird (the little cuckoo). Highlites from other exhibits include a variety of insect specimens, old roofing tiles, arrowheads and spearheads from the Kokubu-dai Plateau and various pottery implements.
