The video conference at the museum was frustrating today. While I thought the idea was great - the technology was not. Also, I felt that it was too bad that it was centered around Dr. Miller who was obviously not physically up to it all. It was interesting to hear the Japanese panelists - though I wish there had been more of a discussion time. The students were great! Too bad we never got to hear their answer about who/what had inspired them!
Throughout it all I was aware that this was really the end - we walked the Kushiro teachers to the train where they sped off to take an afternoon plane back to Hokkaido. It has all ended so fast!
