You can also read this report in both English and Japanese under Omose Middle School posting. Mr. Okoshi has prepared a Japanese translation and I would highly recommend that you visit that site as well.
Tuesday arrived very early (it gets light around 4 AM here and I forgot to close the drapes so I jumped out of bed to start my day and realized I still had two hours to sleep. The plan for today was to join 19 American teachers from the FMF teacher program at their hotel. A full day followed starting with a reception at the Kesennuma City Hall and a meeting with Mayor Suzuki, Superintendent Abe and many distinguished guests.
