It was a busy day for Yao-sensei and Nakamura-sensei. The day began with them teaching the jr high students about Miya-ro and Japanese Sign Language. The students asked them some great questions about the school. We got to see video of some of their students and the song the graduates signed at graduation. Following the presentation Yao-sensei and Nakamura-sensei went on a tour of Jacksonville. After school we visited the ISD museum.
On Saturday we left Jacksonville and headed to St. Louis. First we went to the St. Louis Arch. We went up the arch and looked at the wonderful view. When we came down we walked around the museum which was about Lewis and Clark and other events about settling the Midwest. We then went on a tour steamboat on the Mississippi River. Lastly we went to Union Station for lunch and watch some people make fudge. It was a nice day.
Sunday it was off to the airport! It was a good week and I think enjoyed by all!
