Sayonara US.....Konnichiwa Nihon!
And we're off! Amazing that it is here now. The time in SF was quite nice....getting to know the other participants. It is a group of motivated and innovative, friendly people!
The plane ride was uneventful....just long! :)
When we got to the hotel I made a beeline to McDonalds for dinner and then straight to bed.
Sunday was an exploration day. We were divided into small groups which made traveling easier. We went to the Meijing Temple which was a beautifully forested area. There were two weddings going on which were interesting to see. On our way out Danita, Clarence and I got separated from the others but found out way to Asakusa. I like walking through the vendors. We did eat lunch at a nice little restaurant.
Later I made my way to Shibuya station and arrived at the Tokyo Dept. store to buy a mattress pad for this horribly hard bed at the hotel.
Went to dinner with Bill, MiSang, and Gail but didn't eat. Had McDs later!

The bonsai display was so cool! Some of those old trees must have been in families for several generations.
