I had the pleasure of dining with Chieko's class today. Chieko was one of my partners during MTP05. She taught 5th grade last year. There is a glow surrounding her. She loves teaching younger children so much. The smiles from her and her students light up the room.

Danita, I know what you mean about that special glow. My mother-in-law taught grade school (mostly first grade) for over thirty years. She retired last year, but still has the glow. I have always enjoyed spending time with grade school children, both in Japan and America. Jim, Cheyenne East HS

Yes, Danita, I still see it on the more experienced teachers. They seem to absorb the youth of the kids around them...and they play! I cannot wait until my face shows that glow. Cynthia
