We spent the afternoon enjoying the company of our Japanese partners and their students. Doctor Jones started out with us on Festoon, but we were unable to get a three way congerence going, so he joined us by phone to Matsuyama.
Koji's students from the SELHi group had a performance for us about Japanese food. We saw Nato, Nori, Mushroom Soup, Sushi and Sashami.
There was a good turn out of Tomales students and teachers from several other classes. We were able to ask questions and enjoy the presentations in English, no mean feat.
After the students went home and we returned the furnature to its proper place, I drove home by following Highway One along the coast to Jenner, the mouth of the Russian River. It was a moody afternoon, so I took several photos which I'll also post here. Cheers, Jim McElroy
