They had a busy two weeks with a tight schedule, but they enjoyed the activities and felt that it was a very productive program. They were impressed with the good support system of American education to cultivate skills and curiosity in students. They also thought that American students have more course options compared to Japanese students. They felt that differences between American and Japanese education was that in Japanese education, there are very definite standards and that every student has access to the same level of education. They are having a great time starting the BUGS & Soil project, discussing how to manage the pair project in their school, and planning how to welcome Gail, their partner teacher. They hope to share the great experience they had in America with as many other teachers and students as possible.
