After a long day of touring different museums, our partners and we went bowling at the Sakaide Bowling Alley. We had a terrific time! Our partners claimed they haven't been bowling in awhile, but their scores showed otherwise. Although they were teasing us, one of their team-mates came in last place, but in the end we had a friendly competition. Please see the attached pictures.

They call it "ten pin bowling" here in Matsuyama, but these Japanese seem to have a word for everything! (Wasn't it George Bush who complained that the French didn't even have a word for entrapeneur?) I thought that bowling in Japan was just another excuse to change into different shoes. Is there any truth to that? Best, Jim McElroy
