We shopped in the morning at Indian River Mall and had a fast food lunch on the way to Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach. We toured there and drove to Coral Springs for dinner.

After dinner we attended a concert by the Hiroshima Motomachi High School Band from the Japanese teachers' school. It was quite a coincidence that the band from their school was in Florida at the same time giving several concerts. The concert was held in the auditorium of J. P. Taravella High School in Coral Springs. During a few selections, the Taravella High School Band members played with the Motomachi High School Band.

Mr. Hiraoka and Mr. Kamikawa were recognized before the audience at the end of the concert and were asked to introduce themselves on stage.

We headed back to the hotel; about a three hour drive and arrived at midnight. Early the next morning, at 5:00, we had to leave Sebastian and drive 90 minutes to Orlando International Airport where we had to say goodbye for a few months.
