It sounds like you are having a fine time. Say hello to Azita for me. We enjoyed visiting the island 4 years ago and would head over whenever the weather allowed Hatsukachi City runs a onsen at the top of the mountain and it is very reasonable (or was because the trip up and back is included. Look into going. They give you a great soak and dinner. As I recall, they have fireflies in the garden and a nice view of the Sandakio Gorge. It seems to me that Azita went up with Shelley, Josh and I. If so, she'll be a good resource. Cheers, Jim McElroy
