Yamanoteminami Elementary and Allen Elementary Schools conducted their second videoconference on October 26 (27 in Japan) using MeetingPlaza.
The only technical difficulty was that the Japanese team could not send image files successfully, although they patiently tried. The 13 American third grade students taught English numbers up to 100,000, and shared American Halloween traditions.
The Japanese 5th grade students told us about their pair project investigation into water quality of Kotoni-hassamu River near their school in Sapporo. They taught us Japanese numbers as well.
The highlight of the evening was Imazawa kocho sensei greeting her staff and students in English, and mentioning that she will see them in person on Monday morning!
