Mountain Shadows students revisited our Bugs and Soil work as the Shotoku Gakuen students shared their details of the bugs they observed near the Tama Zoo. Although the Nuevo students could not understand many of the words (although some of the reports were in very good English!) they connected via the beautiful pictures drawn by the Shotoku students. This was one of the highlights of the final videoconference.
Since our southern California Riverside County weather is much the same during all of the year we experience the same insects year round. Our mail project during the spring was to the be Fast Plants, which did not sprout. Lynn Hammonds Mountain Shadows Middle School Nuevo, California
