6/23. Today the 3 week program fmf travelers from Kushiro visited Konan school. It was fun to hand out with them. We were introduced and I gave a short (unplanned) speech to my school. We were then given a performance by the schools award winning Ezo-taiko drum team. It was a very moving performance. The student drummers were flawless and very into the performance. It was really amazing. You'll have to see the video I shot of it. Pictures do NOT do it justice.
After a tour and some class visits we had a debriefing by our principal and vice principal. The fmf were pretty impressed by dynamic personalities and English abilities of both administrators. I then went home and continued to fight with this thing(third pic). It talks to me and if I press the correct buttons, I get hot water but I have not figured it out yet. I'm not that when it talks if it's yelling at me me or giving instructions. Oh well. Nothing has blown up yet. Hi Rick, this thing you have been fighting with says, "Please read the instruction carefully and use it property" Well, I do hope nothing will blow up next two weeks!
