Just can't stay away

I must mention a bit about my weekend. Friday night and Saturday morning I managed to have some restful sleep. I had the good fortune to talk to my husband and daughter while my daughter was actually awake. She doesn't do well with our regularly scheduled chats as it is early in the morning in Texas. Tom and I walked to our favorite 2nd hand store in Kesennuma, and we ate lunch at the fish market. We returned to our apartment complex at 1:00 p.m. as he was scheduled for a trip with the Jr. High teachers. I stayed behind today for some more rest. That evening I took a leisurely stroll in the rain to the market for some groceries.
Sunday I talked again to my husband and daughter after starting the morning by preparing some banana/blueberry crepes. It was off to the fish market again as it tends to close up before we get home from school, so it was time to take advantage of the sushi. I also needed to walk to the computer store to get another clip drive. We took the long way around, stopping in shops here and there along the way. Yuichi-san phoned while we were out, and extended an invitation for dinner in his home. He came to get me around 5:30 p.m., and we enjoyed a splendid evening in his home. The company was charming, the dinner was delicious, and our time afterward playing Connect 4 was so fun! Yuichi has such a nice family, and I appreciate the effort they went to creating such a nice evening. Thank you Yuichi and family!
