Finally parent volunteers and the weather cooperated to allow our last Bugs and Soil t team to gather bugs. The rain held off for the morning and an eager group attacked the project.
A loud scream went up, at one point, and i expected to see a tremendously rare and wonderful insect. Instead, someone spotted a 4-leaf clover plant and the focus deteriorated. Once back on track, they collected about 10 worms, a maggot, an ant and several other critters. As usual, photos will be forthcoming when our system's technological persons figure out why my photos won't resize.
