We held our November conference on November 7. The Japanese students presented to the ISD students. The conference went very well. We did not experience any techinical problems. Miyagi School did an great job of presenting.
Student report: On Tuesday, Nov 7 we had a Japan conference at 5:45 pm at Ms. Humphries' house. The students showed their sports to us. We saw flashcards with the sports names on them. The students showed us sumo, judo, kendo, karate, and Iaidoo. They showed their formal clothes for their sports. The students dressed in the sports uniforms. We learned their sports are different than American sports. We also saw the students play with a top. Their skills were amazing. Ms. Humphries told us that at our Japan festival we will be able to try that.
