We will start growing our fast plants in January since the December break will soon be upon us.
My students worked together in small groups to develop experiments that they want to do with the seeds. We are going to germinate the seeds and get them going regularly and then transplant them to conduct the various experiments. The ideas we will do are: - grow the plants using sugar water - grow the plants under a red light - grow the plants in a "no air" environment using a vacuum - grow the plants using PowerAde - grow the plants in a brownie - grow the plants in peanut butter Some are a bit odd but should be fun!
