We held an afternoon Japan Festival at ISD on Nov 17. For two hours our students were experiencing Japanese Culture and Deaf culture.
I began the afternoon with a PP about my experiences in Japan. I talked about Japanese culture in general and then focused on deafness. I told about the deaf school and deaf people I met outside of school.
The rest of the afternoon the students visited various stations. I set up 14 different stations. These included sign language, games, food, and crafts.

It looks like you spent a lot of time to put the Japanese Festival together for your students. I'm sure it was a fun out of routine event for them. They will think about your festival everytime they read about Japan in the news or see Japanese imagery. Nice work!
