We had our November web conference on November 29th. We shared our bugs, soil, and plants report. The Japanese students created a book of their data and showed it to us. They explained in English. We were impressed with their abilities and their artistic expression with the hand-drawn pictures.
Meads Mill assembled their data into a PowerPoint which we put on document share and read. Unfortunately our Japanese partners could not see our PowerPoint so they were unable to understand the presentation.
During the conference we experienced difficulties with window sizing. Our Japanese partners were very small and hard to see. There was also audio static and at times we could not understand what was being said, or the volume would drop too low to be heard.
The week after our conference we re-filmed the presentation along with a short presentation about our Thanksgiving celebrations. We will be sending a copy of the film and a copy of the PowerPoint to our partners.
We enjoyed sharing our data and look forward to our December web conference in 2 weeks.
