On Monday, December 11, 2006, we had our third video conference. We shared information about our September and October bug collection in the form of bar graphs in order to show students that math and science are interrelated. The students were eager to ask questions to see which month had an increase or decrease of a particular insect.
We also shared Christmas pictures and the students stated what they wanted for Christmas. In addition, our language lesson was on facial expressions. The students displayed pictures of different facial expressions and had the English word next to the picture. American students made different facial expressions and had the Japanese students to repeat after them. Overall, this was an excellent video conference.
