The students in my class are reattempting plant growing this month when we return from spring break. The first round molded as we tried putting the seeds in soil using old film canisters for planters + saran wrap to cover to make a closed system. I don't believe there was enough heat, and there was too much water. We will be posting some pics even after the grant period, as my students and I are setting up a fast plant house from Carolina Biological Supply, and we are also raising Brassica Butterflies to continue our butterfly study. We have weeded an area for a butterfly garden in our courtyard, and will be planting next week as we believe we are past the time our temperatures will drop to freezing. Omose planted a butterfly garden, and our students decided that would be a great idea. One of my students made a book about the butterflies and the plants that attract them.

p.s. The high school biology teacher, Ms. Taylor, had success with Tim's plants, so she shared with my students. Here are some pictures. It's great to be a community!
