Saturday, March 25-
A whirling, swirling spring storm ushered us into the mountains as we made the 5 hour trip to and from McCall, Idaho; the only respite being a glorious soak at Gold Fork Hot Springs. Gold Fork Hot Springs is one of many geothermal springs in Idaho, which like Japan, is known for the significant degree of seismic activity just below the Earth's surface.  On the shore of Payette Lake.  Gold Fork Hot Springs Our evening was spent in discussion and reflection over the past week and a half's activities. "Dazzling" was a term that came up early in the visit. It somehow seemed appropos at many junctures during our visit but was especially fitting for our last day together. Two Japanese and two Americans listened to a singer belt out Brazilian tunes in french at a Parisian cafe. Ah, what a glorious world!
