All MTP participants returned to Bell Multicultural High School for workshops. We had the following workshops: Fast Plans with Dr. Paul Williams, University of Wisconsin; Soil Workshop with Dr. Henry Ferguson, National Geospatial Development Center, US Dept. of Agriculture; Insects/Plants/Soil Interactions, with Mr. Adam Bahrani, Harvard University. We ate lunch at the high school.
In the evening, several of the teachers from Hiroshima and their American partners traveled via the Metro to Chinatown and had dinner. After dinner, we took the Metro to Largo, Maryland where we enjoyed the treat of ice cream at the Cold Slab Creamery.
