In the morning we met Ms. Anne Bieber, assistant principal at Vero Beach High School. Ms. Bieber showed us around the school and classrooms during the morning. We visited several math classes, art class, the gymnasium, the auditorium, as well as several other places on campus.
We had lunch at the Patio Restaurant in Vero Beach and spent the remainder of the afternoon at Sebastian River Middle School. We visited classrooms, toured the school some more, and went outside to see the North County Aquatic Center, watch gym classes, and look at prospective places to conduct the BUGS and Soil Project. In the evening, the Japanese partner teachers came to my house for dinner with my wife and I.
