Ah, it's Friday and a week ago I was off on vacation. That first weekend was gobbled up with prep. for dinner to feed twenty people on Easter Sunday. These past five days I've been driving out to Monte Rio to build new stairs for the cabin. They're done now and I plan to send a video of the project to Matsuytama soon. The tape also includes the Easter dinner, Fisherman's Festival and a snowmobile trip I took prior to the D.C. Study tour. There will be another dinner tomorrow on the tape and whatever else I film to use up all the footage. Hang on to it for me and I'll collect it when I arrive in June. Last night I took some Japanese lessons on line. It was fun to see Mizuho, Cassidy and Jim. We had to deal with the technology ( as is often the case! ) most of the time, but we did get off to a good start. I plan to do my homework and look forward to next Thursday. What's new in Matsuyama? I've been reading about the bullfighting and outstanding vegetables found on Shikoku in a new book I'm reading. I'm excited about getting a chance to work there this summer. Cheers, Jim
