Today, we were to be engaged in a scavenger hunt around Tokyo. It was a long, but fun day. Sato-san, our group leader, led the five of us through busy streets of Tokyo including the Meiji Shrine and Asakusa.
I would like to go back to the Meiji Shrine to tour the Iris Garden and also spend more time to walk the ground. There was a wedding party in the rain. I wondered what rain meant on the day of a wedding. The bride was wearing a beautiful, big white cap. I wonder whether it was to cover the rain or some sort of style.
Walking around the Meiji Shrine in the rain softened my anxiety about the trip. Despite numerous people, the atmosphere was very serene. Someday, I would like to learn all about Shintoism.
