Dave - looks like you are enjoying yourself. Great pictures. And thanks for the cdelts and happy/dad balls. I think the faculty was surprised at my discovery lesson and how long it ran and how well it went. I was thrilled...of course, I had two university translators who were excdellent. I did a sheet for them..one side English and one side Japanese software translation...which they said was horrible.
I might need to talk with you about my son's coming to Kushiro. He will get into Chitose airport (he said Sapporo but Shirari says it does not exist). Then he'd take a train to Minawi station and then catch the 4-hour train to Kushiro...I cannot read the schedule well...can we talk?

Dave -
I thought you post was fascinating. Thanks for providing so many interesting details! I am glad you are having fun. It sounds like the students are really excited about you being there. Good idea showing a video of your school!

Great photos Dave. It was good to see you this weekend in Sendai. I hope I can visit Hokkaido some day. It looks beautiful! We also share a common experience in that we seldom see another westerner in Kesennuma except for the Canadian ALT at the high school. It does seem like total immersion.

Great photos Dave. I appreciated your comments in Sendai this weekend. I, too, never see another western face in Kesennuma except for Tom, Danita, and the ALT at my high school who happens to be a Canadian. Thanks for your comments at the conference.
