I hope everyone enjoyed their regional conference. I arrived by train from Kesennuma and rode the bus to the conference from the Sendai Station.
I was the object of some odd looks by the morning students riding the bus to the Miyagi University of Education. Even though the bus was full I had a seat to myself until I was able to get the attention of a young lady standing up and offered her the seat next to me. She sat down and began to have her breakfast. She thanked me when she got up to leave. I was glad to see that the MTP teachers from the various schools were enjoying their host communities. Last year I stayed another night in Sendai after the conference but this year I went back to Kesennuma on the train. This made for a long day but I was glad to be back in my weekly mansion to get ready for another week at the Omose Junior High School. As many of you know my personal computer crashed and I am making this post on the school computer. Now I have a good excuse for all my typo's.
