Hello all,


The entire time I was at Komatsu my partners extended the need to see something or experience another aspect of their culture. The weekend we went to Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka for a beautiful experience of culture and a bonding of friendship. For them to extend their hospitality to the days of the week was not enough. I was engrossed in the beauty of the history of Kyoto and reminded of how old this lineage of tradition goes. The trip was extremely exhausting but I would not give up that experience for anything in the world. Here are a few of the areas we visited; enjoy the photos on the attachments.

It seems you've had quite a busy weekend there, Carl. I'm glad you enjoyed the trip and it seems you now have wonderful pictures to take back with you to your school and share with your students there!
